Germany is the latest country to give chilling WW3 warning, telling civilians to prepare for global apocalypse
Germany has been warned to prepare for the possibility of World War III with Russia after Vladimir Putin reiterated his threat of a nuclear strike. Tensions escalated further when U.S. President Joe Biden authorized Ukraine to use long-range missiles against Russian targets.
Moscow has since claimed that these missiles were used to strike a weapons depot in Russia’s Bryansk region. In September, Putin warned that if Western nations allowed Ukraine to strike deep within Russia, it would be considered an act of war by NATO, including the U.S. and European countries.
German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has stated that Russia not only poses a military threat but also a hybrid one, requiring Europe to adopt a comprehensive defense strategy. The German Foreign Minister also pledged that Germany would not be intimidated by Putin’s actions, especially after reports revealed that Germany could become a NATO staging area should the conflict escalate further.
According to a 1,000-page document titled 'Operations plan Deutschland', Germany would host hundreds of thousands of NATO troops and act as a logistics hub for sending military supplies, food, and medicine to the front lines.
The German military has also been briefing civilians and businesses on how to protect infrastructure and prepare for potential sabotage, drone attacks, and espionage. Crisis management plans are being put in place, with clear responsibilities assigned for emergency situations, and stockpiles of diesel are being created. These steps mirror similar measures already implemented in Scandinavian countries.
Additionally, Pistorius raised concerns about potential sabotage after two data cables under the Baltic Sea, one of which connects to Germany, were damaged. Though there is no concrete evidence, German officials suspect sabotage rather than accidental damage. The C-Lion1 cable, which stretches nearly 1,200 kilometers from Helsinki to Rostock, and another cable between Lithuania and Sweden were both affected. Pistorius emphasized that this damage is likely a deliberate act, describing it as a "very clear sign that something is afoot."
